BCL is an association. BCL is an association with as goals the protection and selection of cats, to ameliorate and encourage cat breeds in Belgium. The opening of a studbook, the organization of cat shows with the goal to give the breeders and cat lovers in the possession of beautiful specimen to show their cats and recompense them with titles.

 BCL works together with TICA USA and organize therefore shows following the American way of exhibitions.
